- Guardians of the Galaxy 2 will film in Atlanta beginning in Feb 2016
- Bastards starring Ving Rhames, Ed Helms, Owen Wilson, JK Simmons and Terry Bradshaw will film between Atlanta and Miami over the next month
- Dolly Parton’s biopic, Coat of Many Colors will film in the state
- Lee Daniels is developing Star,a new TV series for FOX that will be based in, and more thank likely filmed in, Atlanta
- Will Packer is developing a TV show for NBC called Buckhead, that will be filmed, you guessed it, in Buckhead.
- Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt will be here to shoot their new moviePassengers, so be on the lookout for two of FanBolt’s favorite celebs!
- Daniel Radcliffe’s new film Young Americans is heading here to film in October
- HBO has ordered a full season of Brothers in Atlanta, so look out for that to begin shooting in the state in the near future
- TEN: The Enthusiast Network / Motor Trend is scheduled to begin filming pilot The Racing Line in the state

- Mother’s Day, starring Julia Roberts, Kate Hudson, Jennifer Aniston, has begun shooting in the state and will film at 644 Linwood Ave today and Monday

- Element (Divergent: Allegiant)signs were sighted near the old 85 entrance on Piedmont.
- The Walking Dead filmed at the Gin Property in Senoia
Celebrity Sightings
- Rachael Leigh Cook was spotted at the Woodruff Arts Center
- Rick Ross was spotted being a boss at Compound in Atlanta
- Soon-to-be-divorced couple Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck have been seen hanging out all over town with their kids. (Both are in the city working on separate projects)
Casting Calls
- Neighbors 2, starring Seth Rogen, Zac Efron, Chloe Grace Moretz and Dave Franco, is filming in Atlanta and has been looking for college students that want some extra work
- Coat of Many Colors has been looking for extras. If you could pass for a “church lady” or a “gossiping lady” this one’s for you!
- Hot Summer Nights is looking for TONS of extras, from an “eccentric prom date” to “wealthy parents” and more
- MTV’s Finding Carter needs extras for a college party scene (and there’s more)
- Guardians of the Galaxy 2 isn’t set to begin filming until 2016, but has casting calls out
