When Dreams Come True: Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Schumer Are Writing a Comedy Together
Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Schumer are Hollywood’s current golden girls and now fans can look forward to them combining their powers for the good of us all.
Jennifer revealed the news to the The New York Times while doing press for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay-Part 2 yesterday. “We play sisters,” Lawrence told the NYT.
The pair have been friends for a couple of months now, even vacationing together with girlfriends. On the beginnings of their friendship Lawrence said, “I emailed her after I saw Trainwreck and said, ‘I don’t know where to get started. I guess I should just say it: I’m in love with you,’” she recalled. “We started emailing, and then emailing turned to texting.”
Lawrence feels like she’s found a creative kindred spirit in Schumer (which we love!). “Amy and I were creatively made for each other. We have different flavors. It’s been the most fun experience of my life,” she said.
