Chloe Moretz Fights to Survive in First Trailer for Atlanta-Filmed ‘The 5th Wave’

Chloe Grace Moretz joins humanity in the fight to stay alive once aliens invade in the upcoming science fiction film The 5th Wave.

The Atlanta-filmed movie is based on the best-selling young adult trilogy by Rick Yancey. In it, we’ll get to see Earth face an alien invasion through the eyes of 16-year-old Cassie (Moretz). The extraterrestrials have already knocked out the world’s power grid (1st Wave: Darkness); caused unnatural natural disasters (2nd Wave: Destruction); saw to it that an unstoppable virus spread throughout humanity (3rd Wave: Infection); and finally, they joined the ranks of humanity, walking among their enemies and virtually undetectable (4th Wave: Invasion).
