Mulan Returning to ‘Once Upon a Time’

Another beloved Once Upon a Time character will make her return this season!

Mulan (Jamie Chung) has been missing for a while and fans will be happy to know that she has been confirmed as the show’s latest returning cast member, following news of Meghan Ory’s return to the cast as Red.

Once EP Adam Horowitz confirmed the news tweeting, “Hey #Oncers, look who’s back! Thrilled to welcome @jamiechung1 back to #OnceUponATime season 5!”

The warrior princess has been MIA from the show ever since season three, when she realized that the future she wanted with Aurora (Sarah Bolger) wasn’t going to happen (seeing how she was engaged and preggo with Prince Philip’s [Julian Morris] baby). She ended up running off with Robin Hood (Sean Maguire) and his band of Merry Men, and although we’ve definitely seen Robin since then, fans never found out what became of his broken-hearted Merry Woman. Looks like we’ll find out soon!

Once Upon a Time returns to ABC Sunday, September 27 at 8pm ET/PT.
