• Winona Ryder’s Netflix series Stranger Things will being filming in the state soon and is currently hiring crew members

• More Marvel is headed our way! Thor: Ragnarock will shoot in the city at Pinewood Studios in 2016

• Chris Evans’ new film Gifted will shoot in Savannah and production is looking for crew members and vendors

• Clint Eastwood’s film about Captain Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger, starring Tom Hanks, will film in Georgia.

• Guardians of the Galaxy 2 will film in Atlanta beginning in Feb 2016 (the exact date is allegedly Feb 15th)

• Lee Daniels is developing Star,a new TV series for FOX that will be based in, and more thank likely filmed in, Atlanta

• Will Packer is developing a TV show for NBC called Buckhead, that will be filmed, you guessed it, in Buckhead.

• Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt will be here to shoot their new moviePassengers, so be on the lookout for two of FanBolt’s favorite celebs!

• Daniel Radcliffe’s new film Young Americans is heading here to film in October

• HBO has ordered a full season of Brothers in Atlanta, so look out for that to begin shooting in the state in the near future

• Mother’s Day was seen shooting near Jimmy Carter Blvd in Norcross, GA.

• A sign for Detours was spotted on the exit for 10th street, pointing westward down 10th street in Atlanta

• Frequent Atlanta filming location Pullman Yard will be opening up to the public for a day of fun on Sept. 26th.  The Hunger Games: Catching Fire,  Mockingjay and Insurgent were among the movies filmed there
