CBS Releases First Look at ‘Supergirl’ Villain Dr. T.O. Morrow/Red Tornado

CBS has released a first look at the Supergirl character who will pose “a grave danger to National City,” Dr. T.O. Morrow aka Red Tornado.

Salem‘s Iddo Goldberg will play the combined roles of Dr. Morrow as well as Red Tornado and in the first photo released of the actor in costume, he’s looking like he’s ready to mess… stuff…up.

The series is taking the comic lure and putting their own spin on it by making the two separate characters one and the same. In the comics, Dr. Morrow is the evil creator of Red Tornado, who is actually a superhero, but in the series, Red Tornado is described as “the most advanced android the world has ever seen. Designed by scientist T.O. Morrow for the U.S. Army as the ultimate superweapon, he soon becomes sentient, posing a grave danger to National City — including the people Supergirl cares about most.”

Supergirl flies to CBS with a special premiere of Monday, Oct. 26, at 8:30/7:30c. The series will then move to its usual time slot, (Mondays at 8 pm) on Nov. 2.
