Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising is currently filming here in Atlanta and residents can now add another name to their list of celebs to keep an eye out for: comedian Billy Eichner has officially joined the the cast of the Neighbors sequel.
The movie, whose plot details are being kept quiet for now, stars Zac Efron, Seth Rogen, Rose Byre and Chloe Grace Moretz, with Dave Franco, Ike Barinholtz and Liz Cackowski reportedly returning to reprise their roles from the 2014 hit.
Also recently added to the cast were Kiersey Clemons (Dope) and newcomer Beanie Feldstein. Pop star and actress Selena Gomez will also be making an appearance in the film.
The Hollywood Reporter was the first to break the news of Eichner’s casting. The former Parks and Rec star currently portrays Billy Epstein in Hulu’s original series Difficult People and is known for show Billy on the Street, and of course his Parks and Rec character Craig Middlebrooks. He’ll also appear in an upcoming Will Ferrell-Amy Poehler comedy.
Nicholas Stoller, who directed the original, will be helming the sequel that throws sororities into the mix, as well as the Radner’s lives.
