Portman To Make Directorial Debut
Actress NATALIE PORTMAN is set to make her directorial debut – with a film in Hebrew.
The Israeli-born star – who also speaks French and some Arabic, besides English and Hebrew – will helm the screen adaptation of A Tale Of Love And Darkness, Amos Oz’s memoir of his childhood in Jersualem in the 1940s, reports the New York Post’s gossip column PageSix.
She tells America’s W magazine, “I’ve been reading Oz since high school, and when I read his biography I just sort of saw it.”
