Former ‘RHOA’ Star Kim Zolciak-Biermann Disqualified from ‘Dancing with the Stars’

Kim Zolciak-Biermann has been disqualified from Dancing with the Stars following her health scare last week.

The former Real Housewives of Atlanta star suffered a mini-stroke last week and as a result was stuck at home during last night’s show, unable to compete with her partner Tony Dovolani. The star was told by her doctors that she is currently unable to fly due to some clotting issues, but still hopes to be able to compete in the future, although the contest rules express otherwise.

You can watch Kim’s announcement for yourself below:

The rules of the competition clearly state that a contestant must withdraw in the instance that a health issue or illness prevents them from competing, but Zolciak-Biermann is still campaigning for a return during next week’s episode.

Talk show host Wendy Williams went as far as accusing Kim of faking her health issues once she realized she no longer wanted to be involved with the show, which is known to require long, strenuous hours of rehearsals from their participants.

What are your thoughts? Do you feel that this was all for attention and a way to get out of her contract, or do you think everything happened the way we’ve been told? Talk to us in the comments below.
