Simpson’s Film Flop A Hit In The Ukraine

JESSICA SIMPSON’s flop film BLONDE AMBITION has become a surprise box office hit – in the Ukraine.

The almost straight-to-DVD movie, which also stars Luke Wilson, has become the number one film in the Eastern European nation after grossing over $250,000
(#125,000) last weekend (15-17Feb08).

The film had a limited run in eight Texas cinemas back in December (07) and failed to gross $2,000 (#1,000) in its opening weekend. It was then pulled from theaters and packaged for the DVD shelves.
