‘Dream Writers’ Make Their Way to New York Television Festival

From the initial idea to creating a script to actually funding a pilot and creating a pitch, the Atlanta-based creators behind Dream Writers have accomplished quite a bit in the last year. They were even named an Official Selection for the New York Television Festival, which means they will screen the pilot at the festival (which started today) as well as meet with potential networks, production companies, agents, and other official artists!

While I was in Austin earlier this year, I actually got to see Nathan Bach, Dalton Lilley, Ben Owen, and Shea Castle pitch the series during ATX Festival’s pitch competition. While the guys didn’t win, they were able to get their first taste of pitching – an experience which has helped to prepare them for what awaits them this week.
