Here’s your Atlanta Weekly Filming Roundup covering the week of October 18th-October 24th, including sightings for Powers, The Walking Dead and more!

Coming Soon

  • More Marvel is headed our way! Thor: Ragnarock will shoot in the city at Pinewood Studios in 2016
  • Guardians of the Galaxy 2 will film in Atlanta beginning in Feb 2016 (the exact date is allegedly Feb 15th)
  • Will Packer is developing a TV show for NBC called Buckhead, that will be filmed, you guessed it, in Buckhead.

Currently In Production

  • Signs for Sully were spotted off Sugarloaf Pkwy at Gwinnett Tech College. The production also filmed at Lenox Mall this week
  • The Walking Dead has been shooting off of Kalamazoo Dr in Griffin, GA this week
  • Signs for Bastards were seen on Rogers Ave in Atlanta
  • Game of Silence parking spotted in deck behind Metropolis, signs pointing down 9th street from Juniper (Thanks to FanBolt’s EIC Emma). The show also filmed at Fulton County Airport in Atlanta this week.
  • Containment was seen filming in Hyundai Lot in Braves Stadium (Thanks Eunice Sibrian for the tip!)
  • Powers was spotted filming at Oglethorpe University in Atlanta
  • Chris Evans is still shooting Gifted out on Tybee Island

Celebrity Sightings

  • Scott Eastwood was in town visiting his dad on the set of Sully, starring Tom Hanks
  • Owen Wilson was seen chowing down at Ponce City Market
  • Steve Harvey was a guest at Park Tavern for the Easy Bacon launch
  • Oprah live-tweeted her show Belief from Rathbun’s on Monday (her new series Greenleaf is filming in the city)

 

  • The Walking Dead star Andrew Lincoln was spotted hanging out at the Oakhurst Porchfest
  • Ludacris stopped by the new Marietta location of Andretti Indoor Karting & Games for a little bit of fun
