Adele Can’t Run Her Own Twitter Anymore Thanks to Drunk Tweeting

Adele

Adele drunk tweets just like the rest of us. Unlike the rest of us, however, she’s had her tweeting privileges revoked due to the contents of those tweets.

The “Hello” singer recently revealed that before any of her tweets are posted, that they first have to be run by a couple of staffers and approved, thanks to her past history of drunk tweeting.

The subject came up when Adele recently appeared on a BBC special, Adele at the BBC, hosted by Graham Norton

“Rumour has it, you’re not allowed access to your own Twitter account,” an audience member said to the singer during BBC special Adele at the BBC.

“That is true, yeah, ha ha ha,” Adele replied. “I’m not a drinker any more, but when Twitter first came out I was drunk tweeting and nearly put my foot in it quite a few times. So my management decided that you have to go through two people and then it has to be signed off by someone. But they’re all my tweets. No one writes my tweets. They just post them for me. But they’re all my tweets. No one writes my tweets. They just post them for me. So yeah, that’s very, very true.”

Are you more surprised to learn that Adele has a crew of people to approve her tweets or that someone actually earns money by approving Adele’s tweets?
