Universal Pictures Releases Trailer for ‘My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2’

Thirteen years after the romantic comedy My Big Fat Greek Wedding was introduced to audiences, the movie’s star and screenwriter Nia Vardalos has signed on to write and star in a sequel, My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2.

The first movie brought in over $368 million worldwide with a mere $5 million budget. In addition to Vardalos, the film’s sequel will see the return of Rita Wilson, John Corbett and Michael Constantine. Joining the cast this time around is America’s poster boy for all thing Greek, John Stamos.

The first trailer for the film was released today as Toula and Ian must work together to survive another big, fat Greek wedding, as well as their own marriage. While watching, you can tell the movie will have the same charm and it will bring plenty of laughs.

After spending most of their time focusing on their troubling teenage daughter, Toula and Ian are facing marital problems while also having to deal with yet another Greek wedding – this time, even bigger and fatter.
