‘The Vampire Diaries’ Star Kat Graham Developing Dance Drama Series

The Vampire Diaries star Kat Graham is ready to take you behind the scenes of the lives of backup dancers.

The triple threat is stepping behind the camera to executive produce a new series for The CW, titled From The Top, which will follow ” sven ruthlessly determined dancers and their wild lives as they try to navigate the cut-throat world of Hollywood,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Marc Cleary (Oh Sit) and Dan Richter (The Fosters) will pen the script and also serve as supervising producers for the new series.

Graham has plenty of experience in the world of dance. Before she landed her role as witch Bonnie Bennett on TVD, she started out as a backup dancer, performing with big names like Missy, Pharrell, John Legend, Usher, Jamie Foxx, Bow Wow, Nelly, Christina Milian and more. She even spent some of her time as the red Fantana, Capri (we bet you forgot about that one).

There are no plans for the actress to star in the series at the time, but we’ll keep you updated on casting information as we receive it.
