Fans of Riley and Maya will get to spend another year watching the girls grow up and learn about life now that Disney has announced that Girl Meets World has been renewed for a third season.
The show’s third season will follow Riley Matthews, daughter of Boy Meets World dream couple Cory and Topanga Matthews, and her best friend Maya Hart as they navigate the new world (and new issues) of high school.
“Michael Jacobs has one of the most authentic voices in television today,” said Disney Channels Worldwide EVP of Programming Adam Bonnett in a statement to The Wrap. “He and the entire Girl Meets World team will not only continue to entertain families but also help kids discover who they are and who they want to be in this world.”
The third season of the series will head to Disney Channel in spring 2016.
If you want to catch up with Riley and Maya in the meantime, season two of Girl Meets World is still airing, with the next new episode, “Girl Meets The New Year” heading to Disney on December 4th.
