Sofia Vergara Joins ‘The Smurfs’

According to reports, Sofia Vergara (Modern Family) has joined the cast of ‘The Smurfs’. She will play Neil Patrick Harris’ wife, a powerful executive at a high-end French cosmetics company. It was previously reported that Glee star Jayma Mays would play that role. ‘The Smurfs’ is set for an August 3rd, 2011 release date, and already stars Hank Azaria, Jonathan Winters, George Lopez, Katy Perry and Alan Cumming.
