A Look at Samuel L. Jackson in ‘The Hateful Eight’

The Weinstein Company has released a new featurette for Quentin Tarantino’s The Hateful Eight in order to promote tomorrow’s 70mm release. The featurette features a look at Samuel L. Jackson’s character Major Marquis Warren. Warren, a black former union solider turned infamous bounty hunter, is one of the strangers that John Ruth (played by Kurt Russell – and a second bounty hunter) and his fugitive Daisy Domergue (played by Jennifer Jason Leigh) encounter on their race towards the town of Red Rock where Ruth, known as “The Hangman,” will bring Domergue to justice.

Drama continues to encircle in release of The Hateful Eight with the film being leaked online. Informants have told The Hollywood Reporter that authorities at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) believe the piracy saga originated at the office of Alcon co-CEO Andrew Kosove.

The Hateful Eight opens in select theaters in “glorious 70mm” roadshow release tomorrow, on Christmas Day, and nationwide on December 31, 2015.
