Benedict Cumberbatch Is Spellbinding in First ‘Doctor Strange’ Photo
Production only recently began on Marvel’s Doctor Strange, and we already have our first look at Benedict Cumberbatch in costume as the titular character.
Entertainment Weekly features an inside look at the upcoming film, including an interview with Cumberbatch, who teases that fans can look forward to “crazy s*** going on” in the film. The movie tells the story of Strange who, after a horrific car accident, discovers a hidden world of magic and alternate dimensions.
Cumberbatch appears on the cover looking handsome and confident as he casts a spell over his audience, and it’s revealed in the accompanying interview that the actor’s cover shoot was one of the first times he ever tried on the sorcerer’s costume (which makes sense being that production began towards the end of November).

Doctor Strange hits theaters November 4, 2016, but if you want more info on the film before then, be sure to check out Entertainment Weekly’s First Look issue, on newsstands Tuesday!
