In addition to the new promo, Fox also released the opening scene from the season premiere. For those that might be new to the series, the opening takes you through the basics. Mulder’s sister disappeared when he was only 12 years old, and his obsession to find her took him to the FBI where he found a job and began working on paranormal cases in a unit know as the X-Files. Mulder’s haunting voice walks us through a selection of images, a description of the past, and of course his work with Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson).
