Tim Curry Is Returning for Fox’s ‘The Rocky Horror Picture Show’ Revamp

Tim Curry The Rocky Horror Picture Show Remake

Tim Curry is getting ready to do the Time Warp again after signing on to play narrator The Criminologist in The Rocky Horror Picture Show revamp.

Curry originated the part of cross-dressing Dr. Frank-N-Furter in the 1973 London stage show and he reprised the garter-wearing transgender alien in the 1975 film. Now, the 69-year-old will take over Charles Gray’s part in the Fox’s TV revamp.

Curry will join singer Adam Lambert, who was cast as Eddie, the “rock-n-roll loving, ex-delivery boy” who crashes a party at Dr. Frank-N-Furter’s spooky castle, and actress Laverne Cox, who is stepping into the lead role.

“I am very happy and excited to be a part of this new event,” a statement from Curry reads.

Victoria Justice and Disney star Ryan McCartan will also star as Janet and Brad – roles originated by Susan Sarandon and Barry Bostwick in the film – and Broadway’s former Spider-Man Reeve Carney will tackle the part of creepy butler Riff Raff, who was portrayed on stage and screen by the quirky musical’s creator Richard O’Brien.

The musical will air on Fox this fall! Are you excited for the revamp? Let us know your thoughts in our comment section below!
