Netflix Releases First Look at ‘Gilmore Girls’ Revival

The upcoming Gilmore Girls revival is right around the corner! The four, 90-minute movies, are currently in production on the Warner Brothers lot in Los Angeles, and the ENTIRE cast is returning. Yes, you heard that right, despite the drama that arose a few months back, Melissa McCarthy (who plays Sookie St. James) will be making an appearance in addition to all our other favorite characters – Lorelai Gilmore (Lauren Graham), Rory Gilmore (Alexis Bledel), Emily Gilmore (Kelly Bishop), Luke Danes (Scott Patterson), and many more!

The series will pick up nine years after Gilmore Girls signed off the CW. Amy Sherman-Palladino, the original series creator and executive producer, is also the driving force behind this revival. Daniel Palladino is also an executive producer. They are both writing and directing the series.
