Cox & Arquette Return for Scream 4

Both Courtney Cox and David Arquette will reprise their roles in Scream 4. Cox played Gale Weathers in the original while Arquette played Deputy Dewey Riley. The two, who are now married, claim to have fallen in love on the set of the original Scream.

Kevin Williamson (Scream, Scream 2) will be writing the script. It remains to be seen if Wes Craven will return to direct.

Neve Campbell, the star of the original films, has said previously that she doesn’t want to be part of any more Scream movies and has reportedly turned down an offer to return.
