AMC’s ‘Preacher’ Moving to Atlanta for Season 2?

Preacher

AMC has already confirmed the renewal of Preacher for season 2, and we’re now hearing that the series is eyeing a move to Atlanta for production!

The news of a possible move first broke during an interview at Comic-Con with EW radio. What we know from the comics is that the second season of the series will have the characters on the road, so moving to a new location isn’t a huge surprise – not to mention Georgia’s tax incentives for filming and the fact that AMC’s The Walking Dead and Halt and Catch Fire also film in the state.

If you haven’t checked out Preacher yet, the season finale just aired this week. The series is based on Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon’s twisted ‘90s comic book series and follows about Jesse Custer (Dominic Cooper), a conflicted Preacher in a small Texas town who merges with a creature that has escaped from heaven and develops the ability to make anyone do anything he says. Along with his ex-girlfriend, Tulip, and an Irish vampire named Cassidy, the three embark on a journey to literally find God.
