George Romero to release another Zombie Film

George A. Romero has announced that the title of his latest film would be George A. Romero’s Survival of the Dead. Production for the film started late last year. The debut of the film will take place at the 2009 Toronto International Film Festival as part of the celebrated “Midnight Madness” series. That event spotlights the ten best new horror films from around the world. International

George A. Romero’s Survival of the Dead will follow a war-weary band of soldiers. They get lured to a remote island, one that promises to be the last paradise on earth. Eventually they discover that even in paradise, there is no escape from the appetites of either the living or the dead.
