Oscar Winner To Write Wolverine Sequel

Oscar winner Christopher McQuarrie (The Usual Suspects) has been hired to write the script for the upcoming X-Men Origins: Wolverine sequel. The sequel will be based on Frank Miller’s run of Wolverine comics in the 1980s which saw Logan head to Japan, fall in love, and learn how to be a samurai.

McQuarrie wrote a draft for the original X-Men film which Bryan Singer directed, and has also written the scripts for two other Singer films (Usual Suspects, Public Access).

  1. I hope this means the movie will have an excellent script. Too many films these days frustrate me with their stupidity. If I can see the obvious, why can’t the character? I like action films and it’ll be nice to have one that is well thought out.
