Robert Downey Might Be Lestat In Anne Rice Film

According to reports, Universal Studios is planning a reboot of the Anne Rice vampire chronicles, and Robert Downey Jr. is in talks to play Lestat.

Downey Jr. is reportedly contemplating the role, as Lestat. The French nobleman turned vampire appears in several of Rice’s books.

If Downey Jr. takes the role, that would give him a potential third franchise, along with Iron Man and Sherlock Holmes.
