‘Arrested Development’ Movie May Happen

According to reports, ‘Arrested Development’ creator Mitchell Hurwitz and co-executive producer James Vallely are currently working on the screenplay for the long awaited film. THR notes that “the writers are spinning more bizarre encounters for the eccentric, spoiled Bluth clan for possible feature production in the spring.”

Image, the producers of the TV series, will team up with Fox Searchlight for the film. Hurwitz, who will direct, had previously said that he wouldn’t start writing the script unless all the main actors were committed to come back, but there is no confirmation that this is the case. Jason Bateman and Michael Cera may be the biggest problems when it comes to scheduling.
