New holiday content is making its way to Hitman in a free update called “Holiday Hoarders” that will be available for all players. The new mission overhauls the Showstopper mission by giving Paris the holiday cheer with Christmas trees, decorations, and presents scattered throughout the palace. Unfortunately, it’s not the holidays without a Grinch or two as two thieves have gained access to the holiday party and are stealing presents from the home, leaving it up to Agent 47 to put a silent night to these thieves.

We all know the temptation of taking a peak at all the lovely wrapped presents under the Christmas tree, and as Agent 47, players are able to open up a few of them scattered across the palace to find a few nice surprises within. The thieves did it! Right? Also, leave out some cookies as bait because a surprise guest is rumored to appear and players could easily use that suit as a jolly disguise for maneuvering throughout the building.

The Hitman “Holiday Hoarders” content is set to arrive on December 13th as a free game update for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC gamers. Additionally, the holiday content will be released in support of World Cancer Research Fund.

Cancer is something which affects everyone in one way or another at some point in their lives and we at IOI wanted to do something to help raise money for Cancer research,” said Hannes Seifert, Studio Head at Io-Interactive. “We’re supporting World Cancer Research Fund by giving away some fun free Holiday content to all HITMAN players and we ask you in return if you want to donate to a great cause, to give what you can via www.wcrf-uk.org/hitman.

Have a holly jolly Christmas, agents! Check out the Hitman trailer below for the “Holiday Hoarders” update.
