Will There Be A ‘Mad Max 4’?

Here is the latest news on the possibility of a fourth ‘Mad Max’ film. It is unlikely that Mel Gibson will return to the series, but director George Miller, who was in charge of the three previous films, is interested in casting Charlize Theron (Monster) and Tom Hardy (Star Trek: Nemesis) for the film. Hardy would presumably play the role of Max. Reports also indicate that the film is far from arriving, and that Miller is being very secretive about the roles and plot. Actors auditioning for the film have only been given a letter for their character’s name, the studio has yet to sign off on Miller’s choices and as of now, no formal offers have been made. Also, previous reports have claimed that the project to be an animated film, with Jeremy Renner (The Hurt Locker) rumored for a part in the film.
