‘BioShock’ Movie on Hold

The movie adaptation of the video game ‘BioShock’ is being put on hold as director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo (28 Weeks Later) is next directing ‘Intruders’ instead.

‘Intruders’ will start filming in London and Madrid this June, with Clive Owen and Daniel Bruhl starring. The plot of the film centres on an adolescent girl facing her childhood demons. Owen will play the girl’s father, and that Fresnadillo is still attached to direct ‘BioShock’ for Universal.
