James Cameron to Remake ‘Fantastic Voyage’

James Cameron (Avatar) recently spoke about rumors that he is going to direct a sci-fi spin on Seven Samurai called Doomsday Protocol. Turns out Cameron is working with Doomsday Protocol writer Shane Salerno, but not on that project. Instead, they are working on a 3-D updating of the 1966 Fantastic Voyage. And Cameron will be producing, not directing.

The original film was about a group of scientists that got shrunk down to microscopic proportions so that they could travel inside the human body.
