An ‘Inglourious Basterds’ Prequel?

Quentin Tarantino stated that he has already written 40 pages for a prequel to ‘Inglourious Basterds’, but isn’t sure if the film will get made. He said that the prequel may end up depending on how the original does at the awards shows. He did say that he is working on a new, secret project that will be his next film. The only hints he gave up were that the new film would be “smaller, less epic” than ‘Basterds’ and be in a “different genre entirely.”
