Weekend Box Office Report: January 1st – 3rd, 2010

Avatar once again takes the top spot at the box office this weekend, earning $68.3 million over the weekend. Sherlock Holmes stayed in the #2 spot, earning $38.3 million. Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel held on to the #3 spot, earning $36.6 million. It’s Complicated stayed strong in he #4 spot again this week, earning $18.7 million. The Blind Side stayed in the #5 spot, earning $12.6 million.
