Weekend Box Office Report: January 8th – 10th, 2010

Avatar once again took the top spot at the box office this weekend, earning $48.5 million over the weekend. Sherlock Holmes stayed in the #2 spot, earning $16.6 million. Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel remained in the #3 spot, earning $16.3 million over the weekend. Daybreakers debuted in the #4 spot, earning $15 million over the weekend. It’s Complicated fell one spot to #5, earning $11 million over the weekend.
