John Malkovich has confirmed that he is waiting for the final ‘Spider-Man 4’ script to be sent to him. He also confirmed that the movie has been delayed. Malkovich was rumored to be up for the role of The Vulture a month ago, and in an interview with an Italian sports show, he didn’t deny his involvement. Malkovich was an alternate to Willem Dafoe for the Green Goblin role in the first movie, so it’s not hard to see him being chosen for this role. The doubt comes from the fact that The Vulture is a much smaller villain in Spider-Man lore than the others that have been used, and Sony may not want to let him be the primary villain.
