‘The Last Exorcism’ Will Release in August

Lionsgate has announced that ‘The Last Exorcism’ will hit the big screen on August 27th. ‘The Last Exorcism’ will be directed by Daniel Stamm (A Necessary Death) and produced by Eli Roth (Cabin Feaver). Here is a brief synopsis of the film:

“After a career spent helping the devout through prayer and trickery, Reverend Cotton Marcus invites a film crew to document his final fraudulent days as an exorcist. Soon his faith is truly tested when a desperate plea from the father of a possessed girl brings him face to face with the devil himself.”

  1. great review! im always interested in the paranormal movies, however this seems to resemble the exorcism of emily rose in it’s storyline quite a bit. i’m also unsure of the ‘documentary’ part. paranormal activity was quite a let down for me, as was the fourth kind, i hope they give hope again to movies such as this.
