A ‘Wizard Of OZ’ Remake Possible

Warner Bros. is considering remaking ‘The Wizard of Oz’. Two treatments are being discussed. The first, called ‘Oz’, is being produced by Temple Hill, one of the companies behind ‘Twilight’, and is being written by Darren Lemke (Shrek Forever After). The second is said to be a dark version of the story by Josh Olson (writer of A History of Violence) and focus on Dorothy’s granddaughter returning to Oz to fight evil.
