Paramount To Make ‘In The Beginning’

According to reports, Paramount Pictures will be producing a 3D retelling of the Bible’s Book of Genesis, called ‘In The Beginning’. Reel FX is currently working on the visuals, and will soon turn over test footage to the filmmakers in order to get the greenlight. The film will have a $30 million budget, and according to Deadline, “will use 3D visuals to transform the oft-told tale into a spectacle that the filmmakers hope will attract family- and faith-based audiences that flocked to The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe, that first Chronicles of Narnia installment made on Granat’s Walden [Media] watch.”
