Cage & Reynolds To Star In ‘The Croods’

Nicolas Cage and Ryan Reynolds have both signed on to DreamWorks’ comedy adventure ‘The Croods’. The film is set in prehistoric times, and will see Cage as the leader and protector of his family and Reynolds as the outsider with new ideas that challenge Cage’s authority.

Chris Sanders (Lilo & Stitch, How to Train Your Dragon) and Kirk DeMicco (Space Chimps) are writing and directing the film, based on a screenplay written by DeMicco and John Cleese. It’s set for release on March 30, 2012.
