‘Speedy Gonzales’ Coming to Big Screen

According to reports, Speedy Gonzales is coming to the silver screen, courtesy of New Line.

Everyone’s favorite rapid Mexican mouse will be voiced by George Lopez, who is also producing, and the movie is being scripted by Alec Sokolow and Joel Cohen. The pair worked on Toy Story and were also responsible for both Garfield movies.

The film will be a mix of live action and CGI and is set to take place in the present day.
