‘I, Frankenstein’ Give Frankenstein a Reboot

Lakeshore Entertainment has announced that production on ‘I, Frankenstein’ will begin in July of 2010. ‘I, Frankenstein’ is described as a contemporary fantasy thriller in which the original monster of Victor Frankenstein stands between the human race and an uprising of supernatural creatures determined to overthrow the world. Lakeshore will re-team with writer and actor Kevin Grevioux as well as director and award-winning special effects designer Patrick Tatopoulos from the Underworld franchise on the film. Kevin Grevioux had the following to say on he project, “The re-imagining of the Frankenstein mythos and the diverse creatures of legend is a dream project for me. I’m blessed and thankful that both Tom and Gary really sparked to the material and recognized this property’s potential as not only a film, but a launch pad for various multi-media platforms. And a chance to work with such a visionary titan as Patrick again makes this experience even more amazing.”
