Kevin Greutert Not Directing ‘Paranormal Activity 2’

A few weeks ago it was announced that ‘Saw VI’ director Kevin Greutert was hired to direct ‘Paranormal Activity 2’. It turns out that Lionsgate and Twisted Pictures have elected to exercise an option in Greutert’s contract that will basically force him to direct ‘Saw 3D’. ‘Saw V’ director David Hacki was set to helm the project, but has since been pulled so that Greutert can come back into the fold. It is not known who will direct ‘Paranormal Activity 2’ at this time, the original film’s director, Oren Peli, has finished production on ‘Area 51’, and could be available for the film.
