‘Masters of the Universe’ Gets Writers

It is being reported that Mike Finch and Alex Litvak (Predators) have been hired by Columbia Pictures to write the script for the ‘Masters of the Universe’ film. The project was previously at Warner Bros. and John Stevenson (Kung Fu Panda) was attached to direct. The writers worked their pitch and “attempted to balance a treatment that would convince the studio it was cinematic and keep the toy company satisfied that its characters were being portrayed appropriately.”
