‘Jack The Giant Killer’ Gets New Writer

It is being reported that Oscar winner writer Christopher McQuarrie (who has worked with director Byran Singer on The Usual Suspects, Valkyrie, X-Men) is writing the latest draft of ‘Jack the Giant Killer’. Singer will begin casting soon, for filming in the summer. The move is an adult look at Jack and the Beanstalk, where a Princess is captured, and the long-standing peace between men and giants becomes threatened, and a young farmer is given an opportunity to lead a dangerous expedition to the giant kingdom to rescue her.
