‘The Walking Dead’: Andrew Lincoln Says His Goodbye (Through Song) to Chandler Riggs

Andrew Lincoln

The Walking Dead is back this Sunday night for the mid-season premiere, and based on the mid-season finale – we know it’s not going to be an easy episode to watch. To help with the flood of emotions that fans will be feeling during and after this episode, series star Andrew Lincoln released a video to help with the mourning.

“On the plus side, I’m never going to have to say Coral again” Lincoln jokes before taking us into a musical performance that can’t not put a smile on your face.

Take a look at Lincoln’s goodbye to Chandler Riggs (who plays Carl on the hit AMC series) in the video below.

The video first surfaced this morning on Entertainment Weekly’s site, and it’s timing couldn’t be better as we head into the series return. The song, which is Lincoln’s take on Camila Cabello’s “Havana,” actually works really well with Lincoln’s updated lyrics – “God I hate those freakin’ zombies/They keep eating all of my friends and family.”
