Summit Entertainment is currently negotiating with the stars of their successful ‘Twilight’ franchise to add another film to their deals. The studio wants to split ‘Breaking Dawn’, the fourth and final book in the series into two films. The studio is close to finalizing deals with leads Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner that will see all three get big raises. Also, Peter Facinelli (who plays Carlisle Cullen) and Billy Burke (Charlie Swan) have signed new deals.
The problem is that Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz are making things difficult as they look for bigger paydays, paydays that the studio doesn’t want to give. Sources close to the filming had the following to say, “We may have a situation where one of them is thrown out on the street to make a point. This thing is gonna be two movies. With or without the cast intact.”
