Adam Sandler to Make ‘Pixels’

According to reports Adam Sandler (and his Happy Madison production company) is looking to bring ‘Pixels’ to the big screen. ‘Pixels’ is a YouTube feature, directed by Patrick Jean, that features video game characters (Tetris, Pac-Man, Space Invaders, Frogger and Donkey Kong) attacking New York. The film would use “Ghostbusters” style action comedy, showing the characters breaking free from the gaming universe to cause trouble in the real world. Happy Madison is looking to set up the project at Columbia pictures.
