Marilyn Manson to Star in ‘Splatter Sisters’

Marilyn Manson is set to star in the retro-slasher flick ‘Splatter Sisters’ alongside his fiancée Evan Rachel Wood. The movie is the first in a series of sexploitation-serial-killer-slasher-road-movies inspired by 1980s horror classics. The project was revealed at Cannes by David Gordon Green, who is currently producing ‘Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps’.

“This is a role Marilyn Manson was born to play, and with Evan Rachel Wood bringing dramatic gravity to the ensemble, I have no doubt this will take the horror genre to a new level,” Green said. Manson is a big fan of horror movies and has been working on his own project with his fiancée, titled ‘Phantasmagoria: The Visions Of Lewis Carroll’ with Wood since 2007.
