The art of filmmaking is something that I can admit eludes me. I never had the knack for it. So, in a different spin on a classic prover: those who cannot do, write about and interview those who can do. In that sense I’ve had the opportunity to talk with filmmakers and actors from the Hollywood scene, to the salt-of-the-earth independent arena. If you cannot tell from many my previous stories, one of those indie magic makers who I patronize is Brad Jones, also known as the internet’s darling Cinema Snob.
Not long ago I spoke with Brad about his last film ‘Disco’ where he hinted about some upcoming projects. It did not take long for us to find out that one of those turned out to be a sequel to his 2012 origin film ‘The Cinema Snob Movie.’ Upon hearing about this new venture, I reached out to Mr. Jones to see if we could talk at length about this return of the character to the feature length medium after six year.
‘Another Cinema Snob Movie’ is currently seeking funding via Indiegogo. You can also check out the original ‘Cinema Snob Movie’ via Brad’s official website. Or, if you’re feeling snarky, check out the Nostalgia Critic’s review of the first film below.
